Win9x/ME
TaskManager is a utility that gives some of the advanced
functionality that the Users of NT / 2000 have with the
included Task Manager. Win9x/ME TaskManager also includes some
of the memory optimization capabilities of RamWatch Lite.
With
Win9x/ME TaskManager's very easy to use graphical interface,
users
can monitor Windows resources quickly and painlessly. It
includes the ability to monitor most system resources like
physical, virtual, pagefile memory as well as cpu usage and
processor speed.
The current version of Win9x/ME TaskManager
features:
- The Processes tab shows all programs
running on your system. You can use this tool to view any
backdoor programs running that are hidden from CTL+ALT+DEL.
- The Applications tab displays all current
applications that visible and some that are hidden from
the taskbar.
- The New Task feature allows you to run
new task via Win9x/ME TaskManager. It mimics the Run
command in Windows.
- The Switch To button allows you to switch
to the current application or window from the Task Manager.
- The End Task button enables you to safely
end a process from Win9x/ME TaskManager.
- CPU or Memory usage is displayed in an
icon in your system tray and is displayed in real time.
- The system tray icon shows the CPU usage
in a monochrome style graph, which climbs when more cpu
usage is being used.
- The Always On Top feature allows Win9x/ME
TaskManager to stay on top of all other open windows.
- The Hide when Minimized feature allows
you to hide Win9x/ME TaskManager and only display the cpu
or memory usage icon in the systray.
- The Program shows a quick reference
display located at the bottom of the program that will
show you, total processes, CPU speed and Memory usage.
- The Win9x/ME TaskManager allows you to
maximize and resize the program so it suits your needs for
your screen resolution.
- The Minimize feature on the application
tab allows you to minimize the selected application.
- The Bring to Front option allows you to
bring the selected application to the front of all the
other open windows running.
- The Maximize feature on the application
tab allows you to maximize the selected application.
There are many other great
features in Win9x/ME TaskManager that are not
listed. Win9x/ME TaskManager receives
